The Idaho State University Continuing Education Workforce Training’s annual Emergency Medicine Conference will be February 27-28 with an optional pre-conference on February 26.

The conference was developed to provide EMTs, paramedics, first responders, emergency physicians, nurses, and other direct-care workers with up-to-the-minute information on a wide variety of topics in emergency medicine. Presenters for this year’s conference were selected based on expertise in an area of practice and their ability to convey current, evidence-based, practical information on their area of emergency medicine. The conference format includes lectures, a panel discussion, smaller group breakout sessions, case studies, practical exercises, and question-and-answer sessions. There is also a Wilderness Medicine conference track.
