In this video you will get a glimpse into The Wilderness Physical Therapy Educators-approved PT Continuing Education Course, ‘Traversing Wilderness Physical Therapy.' This course addresses austere and remote pre-hospital care. Using scenario-based teaching, the course emphasizes clinical reasoning, decision-making and hands-on skills in the wilderness environment, encouraging participants to problem solve while developing innovative treatment approaches for people who become injured or ill in the back country when help is delayed.
